The Brief

Wanting to increase engagement for Thomas’ English Muffins, with shoppers and consumers, brand owner Bimbo Bakeries, wanted to run a promotion across Walmart stores. The objectives were to encourage recipe exploration using the muffins, capture consumer data and to reinforce the creative values of the brand.

Our Approach

We created a promotional site to capture consumer photos of their creations and reward them via entry to a simple prize draw to win foodie trips to favourite city break destinations.

Visually we designed the site to give the brand identity an attractive exploration theme.

For a promotional site the home page is creatively elaborate, as we applied a parallax design, using intricate graphic layers. Visitors navigate on to enter the promotion and their uploaded recipe photos are featured on a carousel. There is also a selection of recipe suggestions to inspire consumption and the site is fully responsive for mobile, desktop and tablet devices.

We also built in a secure promotion management system to provide for entries reviewing and other facilitation by the client.

The site was built in partnership with risk management specialists VCG.
