The Brief

Ca' Pietra is internationally renowned for distinctive, designer tile collections, and produce some of the UK’s most premium stone tile collections.

KBB is an international expo for all things kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom, held annually at the NEC, Birmingham.

Ca’Pietra wanted us to design a space which embraced the essence of 'House of Ca'Pietra' that extended beyond the home and embraced the quirky nature of the brand.

Our Approach

To bring the tile collections within the 'House of Ca'Pietra' to life, our focus was on the overall guest experience and ultimately creating a space aligned with Ca’Pietra’s brand ethos. Given the intimate size of the stand, careful consideration also needed to be given to visitor flow and zoning.

Taking inspiration from a vintage boutique hotel, we designed unique zones that could creatively showcase combinations of tiles that the guests wouldn’t typically expect. From the hotel lobby where guests checked in with their key, to the hotel bar offering barista-made coffee or glass of champagne, throughout the regular happy hours, culminating in a show-stopping elevator photo opportunity. Each visitor was treated to an unforgettable experience.

Delivering a stand-out stand

Working in partnership with the client team, our build partner, and the NEC, we were able to deliver a solution that created stand-out, as well as deliver on Ca’Pietra’s business goals.

Our focus was on every detail, ensuring the finish matched the exacting standards for the brand.

The result was a stunning space that successfully drew in retailers, VIP press guests, and key industry figures throughout the show with a positive buzz around Ca’Pietra.
