Made For Drink

Packaging for a Partnership

Made for Drink partners with English Heritage to launch a collection of local artisan flavours.

"I absolutely love the team at Grand Central. Every time they nail it. We know and trust one another, we spend time to understand the brief completely and without fail they nail it first time, everytime. What they have done on this project, as well as countless others, is to deliver an incredible creative solution that has stepped changed our business performance. Thank you to the whole team."

Premium bar snack brand Made for Drink developed and launched five delicious crisp flavours designed to shine a light on the UK food sectors provenance and heritage.

The English Heritage range consists of Dorset Sea Salt, English Truffle, Malt Vinegar and Sea Salt, Baron Bigod Cheese & Onion, and Unseasoned Yorkshire. The snacks champion and highlight some of England’s passionate and artisanal food producers. The five year global licence will generate income to help English Heritage to carry out vital conservation work across their 400 sites in England.

The Brief

Made for Drink identified their target consumers as the conscientious, premium ‘foodie’. This was central to the campaign as it is to their wider brand strategy as well.

Our Work

We created premium standout packaging contrasting with the varietal hero colours. Illustrations, copy, and logos were strategically designed to capture hearts and minds at the shelf edge, whilst also ensuring that the British produce at the heart of the flavours shone through. The packaging has an ode to the original Made for Drink branding with a twist ensuring that the English Heritage collection both stands out but also sits well with the wider product range.
